Spam
I had a few words with the people of LayeredTechnologies....and it's confirmed, while every server in the multiverse has anti-spam wording in their TOS I'm pretty sure there is not a single one that actually does anything about it.
I guess failed attempts at making threads would be nothing to take action over, but the wording from their techs left me wondering if they are the ones behind the spam rather then their clients...I've added their domain to my servers ban lists.

It should be blatantly clear without the logs, unless of course the dozen sites of google are conspiring against you...
try http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&safe=off&rls=GGGL%2CGGGL%3A2006-43%2CGGGL%3Aen&q=reverse.layeredtech.com+spam&btnG=Search
it's a search for reverse.layeredtech.com spam on google... there are 9,750 instances.
This should be enough to raise all sorts of flags on your end. Failing that try looking for your resolved address and "hacked" "bad bots" or any other combo domain banning offenses...you may be surprised just how many sites have your domain banned. That said, I just looked & your domain is already listed on most of the ban lists I have, I think I'll just be following suit...

Shortly after I submitted the above email I had 3 IP's from them on my site trying to post and/or register...so I'm thinking it really may be them rather then their clients.
That said, I have banned them from the site, and will be adding them to any banned lists they are not already a part of.
